A great way to get up close and personal with your dinner, the trout ponds located on the grounds are perhaps not for the more experienced fisherman, but never the less they are great fun for any less experienced members of the party.

Armed with a rustic fishing rod; a wooden stick, fishing line and hook you are invited to catch what you can before handing over the spoils of the catch to our chefs who will cook them for dinner.

All of our trout are raised to the highest welfare standards and the stocks carefully maintained. We do ask that guests treat the trout ponds with respect to ensure we can maintain this high standard.
