Feeding the Alpacas |
The farm at Las Casitas del Colca raises a variety of animals including horses, cows, rabbits, guinea pigs and baby alpacas.
At 8.00 am, 12.00 and 2.30 pm guests are invited to assist our farm workers with the bottle feeding of the young alpacas. Lasting around fifteen minutes, this is a great opportunity to get close to some of Colca Canyon's unique nature.
Whilst you are on the farm, our farm workers will be delighted to explain the techniques of farming in the Colca Canyon.
Guests should also take the opportunity to visit the vegetable garden and see our range of organic produce. You may even be able to select the contents of your lunch or dinner direct from the farming fields. | | |
