Feeding the Young Alpacas

The farm at Las Casitas del Colca raises a variety of animals including horses, cows and baby alpacas.

At 7.00, 13.00 and 17.00 guests are invited to assist our farm workers with the bottle feeding of the young alpacas.
Lasting around fifteen minutes, this is a real opportunity to get close to nature.

Whilst you are on the farm, our farm workers will be delighted to explain the techniques of farming in the Colca Canyon.

Guests should also take the opportunity to visit the vegetable garden and see our range of organic produce. You can even select the contents of a nice fresh salad direct from the fields.
